The MAT-30 is a compact automatic antenna tuner designed for compatible Yaesu HF and 50MHz transceivers. It quickly matches antenna impedance to optimize transmitter performance, improve signal efficiency, and reduce SWR for reliable operation across multiple amateur radio bands. Featuring fast tuning, low power consumption, and seamless integration with supported Yaesu radios, the MAT-30 is an ideal accessory for home, portable, and field radio operations.

The mAT-30 connects to either the CAT/LINEAR or LIN/TUN port on the back of the radio, dependent upon the radio model, and is operated by the front panel of the radio through the included interface cable. 12 VDC power for the tuner is supplied by the radio via this transceiver connection cable.

It provides automatic antenna tuning across the entire HF spectrum plus 6 meters at power levels up to 120 watts (100 watts max above 50 MHz). It will tune dipoles, verticals, Yagis, a long wire, or virtually any other coax-fed antenna. The impedance matching range of 5 to 1500 ohms far exceeds the capability of the transceiver’s internal automatic antenna tuner. 16,000 frequency memories provide instant recall of previously used settings.
